トロントに住み約10年。これまで非常に魅力的な日本人と出会う事が出来ました。
私の撮影技術で皆さんの輝かしい活躍を『記録に残したい！』『紹介したい！』と思いこのプロジェクトを立ち上げました。
これから海外生活される方、海外へ挑戦したい方などに向けて少しでも参考になれれば嬉しい限りです！
It’s been about 10 years since I moved to Toronto. Fortunately, I was able to meet with attractive and fascinating Japanese people here.
With my photography skills, I aim to “keep a record” and “introduce” how Japanese people are shining brightly living overseas.
For those of you who are planning to live overseas or wanting to challenge living in a foreign country, I hope this would be a useful reference for you!

愛知県出身。トロントを拠点に活動するフォトグラファー。
友達からの影響で10代の頃から音楽にハマり、ナイトクラブでDJ活動を開始。
20代前半で訪れたニューヨークに感動し、海外生活に憧れを持つ。
音楽活動を続ける中で英語を学ぶ事が重要と考え憧れであった海外移住を決断し、2010年カナダへ移り住む。
以後、海外の風景や魅力的な方々をカッコよく撮影したいと思い写真を独学で学び、フォトグラファーとしての活動を開始。
2018年、k.katsu studio『海外で活躍する日本人を撮影』プロジェクトを立ち上げ撮影、編集作業に日々没頭している。

Became interested in music from his friend’s influence at the age of 10 and later started his career as a nightclub DJ.In his early 20s, his heart was moved when he visited New York, making him aspired to live overseas.Throughout his music career, he feels the importance of learning English, so he decided to move somewhere abroad – which he has always been admired to do – and moved to Canada in 2010.
With the strong feeling of photographing fascinating people and landscapes overseas, he taught himself the skills required to become a photographer and begins his career as a photographer.In 2018, he began the k.katsu studio “photographing active Japanese living overseas” project, and since then, he has been devoted to taking and editing photos.

Take a unique photo of yourself at your favourite location!
We are flexible with any location you choose for the photo shoot: for outside photography, we will be taking photos by utilizing natural lighting in the morning and evening, doing a night view portrait photography at night, or photography that utilizes a strobe. Do you have a special secret place that you’d like to take your very own artist’s promotional photo, business profile picture or memorable photos of your trip overseas?
